Conrad Lissman
Conrad Lissmann and his family came from the German village of Fischborn. The church there is part of the Unterreichenbach parish where the baptisms of several of his children are recorded. By his first wife, the baptisms of the following three children are recorded: Anna Elisabeth (July 18, 1745), Johann Georg (December 22, 1749), and J. Heinrich (August 14, 1756). After his first wife died, and Conrad married Anna Maria (maiden name unknown) on November 16, 1761 and their son Johann Heinrich was born on September 10, 1761 and baptized on September 12, 1761.
The family immigrated to Russia arriving from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna. The family settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 92 (with Conrad's third wife listed as Katharina).
In 1791, son Heinrich moved to the colony of Dönhof where he is recorded on the 1798 census in Household No. Dh010. Son Georg moved to the colony of Huck where he is recorded on the 1798 census in Household No. Hd19.
