Adam and Marguerite Keiser Family
Adam Keiser was born in Norka in 1867, the son of Johann Peter Keiser (born 1837-?) and Catherine Urbach (1838-1883).
Adam married Marguerite Sauer who was born in Norka in 1871, the daughter of Peter Johann Sauer (1848-?) and Katherine Elizabeth Schmidt (1840-?).
Adam and Marguerite left their home in Norka in September 1894 when their oldest daughter, Anna Katherina, was 8 months old. They first settled in Lincoln, Nebraska and worked as itinerant farmers in the sugar beet fields. In 1909, the family relocated to Billings, Montana.
Marguerite died in 1936 and Adam passed away in 1951. Their daughter Anna Katharina lived to the age of 98 and had a profound and positive impact on her family.
