Descendant Charts
A large number or descendant charts for Norka families have been completed by Dr. Igor Pleve, a former professor of history at Saratov State University in Saratov, Russia. The charts were prepared using original source documents held in the Russian archives. The charts were typically commissioned and paid for by an individual, or group of individuals, who descend from a specific family line.
The charts show the original colonists who arrived in Norka in 1767 and their documented descendants up to the late 1800's or early 1900's. Birth, death, and marriage dates are shown for most individuals. In many cases, the charts also note the place or area of origin in Germany or Western Europe. The bold line indicates the direct ancestral line of the person that ordered the chart. The charts may also note the movement of people and families to other colonies or countries.

Many of these charts are available for purchase or research use at the AHSGR Library and Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The Family History Library also holds many of the charts for Norka families and they are available for use within the library at Salt Lake City.
