From Canada
Stony Plain, Alberta, March 6th
As I am also a reader of the Welt-Post, I want to send in a report from here today. We are cutting wood as we intend to build in the spring. As I can see from a report from Heinrich Haessler, house 89, from Norka, he had to be operated on. I like reading Conrad Bott's reports; he should just write more. Where is your brother and what does clockmaker Johannes Heinrich, who lives in house 117, do. Is Peter Heinrich still a civil servant and where is his Khutor household now? Does Conrad Hinkel still live in house 102? How about Philip Burbach, house 67, and what is Peter Spady doing? What servants have you, and what credit union, and what letter? How do you like the Khutor economy? I heard that Peter Haeuser, house 130, and Conrad Sauer, house 134, are said to have emigrated to Canada? Is Georg Reisbig house 68 still alive? What does Johannes Drill, house 731, do? Is Heinrich Helzer still in tobacco? And is hell water also boiled? What is Friedrich Doering doing in house 120, is he still going to Saratov? Does Heinrich Krieger still remember how we once bought oxen in Luzokowka with Heinrich Weidenkeller from house 206, and can Heinrich Haessler still remember our night camp in Sowat.
