To my great joy, I received a sample issue of the Welt-Post and want to order it right away, as I am very interested in the articles from my old homeland, which I only left six months ago. We had a very nice winter in Canada, the first I've had here. It's just like in my old home on the Volga, and because there are many Volga people there, I would like to introduce myself to the readers as Georg Hoelzer (Hanskarte) from Old Norka. Many who are from Norka will know me. You can make a good living here if you want to work, but the church conditions are not so good. People live too far apart. I joined the Reformed Church of Hope. We don't have a church yet, but we plan to build one later and have already made the preparations for it. May God bless us to finish everything, then we will be better spiritually taken care of as well.
