Ernst and Catharina Traudt
According to the parish records of Gründau, Ernst August Draut (son of Valentin Draut) and Catharina Kropp (daughter of Heinrich Kropp) were married in Rothenbergen on 26 August 1762. Their son, Johann Wilhelm, was born on 7 May 1763 and baptized on 12 May 1763. Their daughter, Anna Elisabeth, was born 22 November 1765 and baptized on 24 November 1765. Both children were born and baptized in Rothenbergen. Anna Elisabeth must have died prior to the family's arrival in Russia. Ernst, Catharina, son Wilhelm, and newborn son Conrad settled in the colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and were reported there in the 1767 Census (aka the First Settler's List) in Household No. 66.
