George and Ann Wacker Family
George Wacker was born September 14, 1895 in Norka, the son of Johannes Wacker and Christine Schnell. George immigrated to the United States with his parents and siblings in June 1906. After leaving Norka, they sailed from the port of Libau (now Liepaja. Latvia) to Liverpool, England and arrived in Philadelphia. The Wacker family settled in Portland, Oregon and George became a Naturalized Citizen in June 1918. He also served in the United States Army infantry during World War 1 and later received an Honorable Discharge in April 1919. George died on November 21, 1967.

George Wacker married Ann Lump. Ann was born March 2, 1902 and died November 15, 1962.

George and Ann Wacker were blessed with two children: Bernice V. Walker, born October 17, 1920 and Robert George Wacker, born November 14, 1922.
