Heinrich (Henry) Krieger was born July 12, 1885 in Norka, Russia and immigrated to the United States in June 1903 and settled in Portland. Heinrich's brothers, Nicolaus, Johann Georg (John), and Melchior also came to the United States and settled in Portland. John arrived prior to Heinrich in June 1900. Melchior arrived in November 1907. Nicolaus arrived in Feb. 1913.
Henry married Maria Lind on June 2, 1906. They had a daughter, Irene, who was born about 1913. Maria died in May 1917.
Henry married Maria Obermiller on August 20, 1917 in Portland, Oregon. They had two daughters, Ruby (born 1918) and Dorothea Ruth (born 1919).
Henry lived a full life and died on April 23, 1979 in Portland. He was buried at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
