On December 27, 1876, Johann Georg married Elisabeth Huck. She was born October 13, 1857, in the colony of Huck. Johann Georg and Elisabeth had at least 11 children. Two daughters immigrated to the United States and settled in Oregon. Anna Maria (born May 30, 1882) married Johann Georg Henkel on March 1, 1905. They arrived in Baltimore in 1907. Magdalena (born December 8, 1888) arrived in Portland, Maine, in 1906. She married Georg Philipp Schnell in Portland, Oregon, in 1910.
