Phillip and Anna Lofink Family
Phillip Lofink, Sr. was born in Norka in 1861. Phillip Sr., his wife Anna (née Brehm), and most of his children were born in Norka. The family immigrated to the United States in 1892 and settled in Nebraska.
Phillip Lofink, Jr. served as 1st Battalion Commander during the D-Day Invasion of Europe in June 1944. He was killed in action and received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
